Alia Bhatt has responded to the playful reference made to her in the trailer of Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming movie "Jawan".
She took to her Instagram Stories to share the trailer of "Jawan" and wrote in the caption, “And the whole world wants only SRK!!!!!
In the beginning of the "Jawan" trailer, Shah Rukh's character, who has taken control of a metro compartment, is seen negotiating with Nayanthara's cop character over the phone.
When she asks him, “What do you want?”, Shah Rukh responds cheekily, “I want Alia Bhatt.”
Shah Rukh and Alia had previously shared the screen in Gauri Shinde's 2016 film "Dear Zindagi", which was co-produced by Shah Rukh's Red Chillies Entertainment.
The production banner had also supported Alia's debut film "Student of the Year" and her Netflix India dark comedy "Darlings".
Alia also shared a picture of her Vogue Thailand cover on Instagram, where she is featured in a close-up shot wearing a furry yellow top.
She was last seen in the international spy thriller "Heart of Stone" alongside Gal Gadot.
Several celebrities including Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Vignesh Shivan, Farah Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Kriti Sanon, Huma Qureshi, Angad Bedi, and Anushka Sharma reacted to the "Jawan" trailer on their Instagram Stories.
The film, directed by Atlee and produced by Red Chillies Entertainment, features a star-studded cast including Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sunil Grover, Yogi Babu, and Ridhi Dogra.
It is set to release in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu on September 7th.
